Collegespeaks is a campus networking website which gives an inside-the-campus feel of Indian colleges through experiences shared by students and alumni. Collegespeaks allows users to search for colleges from our 8000 plus strong database (which is constantly building up) based on the course and specialization that interests them.

Come May/June and college-seekers are running helter-skelter for colleges as they are unable to decide upon that one college that is best for them. We have, on Collegespeaks, given a platform where students and alumni are posting their campus experiences in the form of Quotes, Pictures and Grades. With this, we have built a network around campuses where users can post views, issues, suggestions and announcements of upcoming events within their campus.

We will be introducing features helpful to both college-bound and college going students from time to time. Meanwhile keep posting on Collegespeaks to make it India’s best campus network.

Founder

Vidya Vyas

Graduated with Mathematics major in 1996, Vidya moved on to study English literature and advanced diploma in French and brings more than 10 years of experience ranging from teaching to banking. After teaching English & French for over 5 years, Vidya worked with a Spanish Bank, Abbey National, in Glasgow. Vidya has over 4 years of experience in banking including liaisoning with IT section for software requirements, handling customer grievances and training & development. Collegespeaks is an outcome of her entrepreneurial quest and leadership skills, where she bags many milestones especially nurturing a start-up, giving it traction and commendable presence in India while addressing a huge gap.

Mr Gaurav Mendiratta

Self Starter, Entrepreneurial and a strong believer of providing Leadership by example, Mr. Gaurav Mendiratta has more than 5 years of experience in Internet Applications, Video, Networking and Cable Technologies. He has been working with a major Cable and Internet service provider of US over 4 years. In this short span, Gaurav has risen to the position of Principal Engineer at the office of the CTO. In his work, he has led several successful projects and products from their inception to a nationwide deployment. Gaurav also worked with The Asian Plastic Company, India where he led a team of 7 people who designed a circuit of a transducer, currently being used by The Indian Railways. Gaurav holds a Masters in Telecommunications & Networking from University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics and Communications, from Barkatullah University, Bhopal, India. Currently, Gaurav is Founder & President at AKG technologies INC, Philadelphia, USA.

Mr. Achaesh Amar

Mr. Achalesh Amar has a wealth of knowledge and experience in IT, Management and Education. He has more than 15 years of experience in Education and has been an instructor at top institutes like Kaplan. He has over 10 years of experience in IT with specialization in QA. Achalesh holds a Masters in Technology in Electrical Engineering from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology and a Bachelors in Technology in Electrical Engineering from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, India. Currently, Achalesh is VP Product Development at AKG technologies INC, Philadelphia, USA.
