We had 2 annual events – one was the APOGEE, which was academic and the other OASIS which was a cultural affair. OASIS would last for 5 days and normally be pompous. I liked the decoration part of it always which I did gladly all the years. The budget used to run into 6 figure one with Coke being our major sponsor in one year.

A Typical Weekend

Shiv-g was our favourite haunt which had a good about 20 feet tall statue of Shivji surrounded by water body. Connaught, the plaza was the only place for our shopping needs.

Sky was a cool place to relax and so was the birla museum which had nice surroundings.

There was an office canteen and the one and only MESS, both of which were accessible to students. The mess’ food though wasn’t palatable, but was still safe. The office canteen was better though. The All Night Canteen, popularly known as ANC, was popular among students. I liked their samosa and masala dosa. And on special occasions the SPECIAL GRUBS of the mess were fantastic!!!
